The setting: raised above the site
The Taos chalets sit on the upper terrace of the campsite. The view runs across the meadows and pitches to the opposite slope. A metal staircase leads up to the terrace.
It is about a twenty-minute walk up into the old town of Wiltz. Public transport in Luxembourg is free, so you can explore the Éislek without a car. Bikes and e-bikes can be hired at our reception.
More about the area is on The Place. How the Éislek opens up by bike is described in Cycling through the Éislek.
Frequently asked questions about the Chalet Taos
What sets the Chalet Taos apart from the other chalets?
Two things: the raised position with a view across the whole site, and two bathrooms with two toilets. With six people, that makes a noticeable difference in the morning.
Can I bring a dog to the Chalet Taos?
Dogs are welcome with us in principle, at 3 € per night in a chalet plus a one-off cleaning fee of 10 €. However, a metal staircase leads up to the Taos. For guests with a dog we therefore recommend the step-free Chalet Ardenne. Do talk to us beforehand, we are happy to advise.
Is the Chalet Taos step-free?
No. Access is via a metal staircase. Ardenne 1 and Ardenne 12 are the step-free chalets.
Are bed linen and towels included?
Yes. Bed linen and towels are included in the price, as are power, water, heating, television and Wi-Fi.
When can I check in?
Check-in for a chalet is from 3 pm, reception is open until 4 pm. If you arrive later you will get a key safe. Check-out is by 10 am.
Is the hob gas or electric?
The Chalet Taos has a gas hob. Microwave, kettle and coffee machine run on electricity.
